As global economies seek to readjust in lieu of the Russia-Ukraine Crisis, President Joe Biden, likely one of the weakest presidents of a modern developed nation continues to virtue signal actions to deflect from his miscalculations of Putin’s reactions to the US courting Ukraine to join the EU and NATO. As I see it, that is the root cause of this issue. Is Putin evil for doing to the Ukrainian people what he is doing? Yes? War is an evil resort and an indication that world leaders lack diplomacy. In retrospect, Putin is not doing anything that NATO countries haven’t done to other countries, we just use a virtuous premise and sell that to our people to justify occupying and forcing our values on other people. As the people that exist in NATO nations see how their leaders contradict themselves with policies and actions at home, we can not help but ask, “Is this war happening because of an intentional lack of diplomacy?” It is clear as the crisis plays out and by the media damage control and censorship, that the West played a risky hand with Ukraine and lost. Americans and other western citizens are being asked to take the economic fall for the unnecessary crisis, while our leaders call for collective guilt via virtue signaling support for what looks like a betrayed nation.
I asked the question in a previous blog, did Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky get played or did he play himself? I wondered this from the onset of the crisis. Why would Zelensky allow himself to be courted by NATO countries knowing there would be a political risk to his people? Russian President Vladimir Putin has long been vocal about the expansion of the NATO alliance eastward being a threat to the national security of Russia, and rightfully so. The alliance in essence is an anti-soviet alliance designed to check countries like Russia with global military force. If Russia gets agitated by a NATO nation and attacks, the 30 countries’ military alliance would be on their asses causing a third world war that in a simulation estimated 1 BILLION DEAD globally. I’m sorry, Hunter Biden’s little playground is not worth that risk. Such a reality reminds me of the scripture at 2 Peter 3:10,11 “But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and its works will be laid bare. 11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness…”
The NATO alliance made sense during the cold war times, but as economies globally started intertwining, Russia was brought into that fold as an economic partner to many nations for the resources that they contribute to the world as well. I question why this alliance continued to exist, while NATO countries expanded business relationships with Russia. Did they try to tame Russia with business while expanding their territory with surrounding Baltic nations? That is up for debate, but looking like an obvious card that was played.
As the Ukraine conflict came to a head and Putin decided to invade or as he says to his people “Run a special operation” in Ukraine, it became obvious what the central focus of this conflict was. All you have to do is look at a map of NATO allied nations to see what the root cause of this issue really is. As we the West accuse Putin of trying to re-live some soviet wet dream of the past, it is undeniable that NATO has engaged in its own virtuous imperialism over the decades. There are always two sides to look at things, and I like to be objective. As NATO expanded, they seem to think charming volatile nations with business opportunities, would distract those nations from the expansions. NATO nations seemed to sacrifice their nation’s economies to their enemies to expand their military alliance into their territories. You could see how this would not sit well with the so-called volatile nations over time, as the question of the intentions of such expansion would rise and linger; and perhaps inspire those nations to do their own expanding. Anytime world powers expand, people get killed. One could argue that NATO expansions have weakened global diplomacy in many regards, and has inspired modern-day imperialism in the East and West.
Another point that demonstrates America’s weakness in global relations in lieu of the War in Ukraine is the international communities response to US sanctions. In desperate need of an oil solution after Putin’s invasion, Saudi Arabia has still not picked up the phone for the President of the United States. Joe Biden is out begging countries that we have previously sanctioned for oil like a harlot in a red light district. Sad. America looks weak, hence the West and NATO look weak. The fumble to aid Ukraine with fighter jets from Poland quickly created a need for Kamala Harries to take a trip to clean up more poor communication coming from the administration in DC. When I first heard that Poland was sending Fighter jets to Ukraine, I immediately raised an eyebrow. Poland which is right in Russia’s backyard is a prime target for Putin’s wrath if they appeared to be getting involved. Poland resolved to fly the fighter jets to the US airbase in Rammstein, Germany so that the US could fly them into Ukraine; which was never an option for America. You can see how Poland could have felt like a sacrificial lamb, but the Biden Administration is saying that Poland wanted to take the action, but that Biden said No. I doubt that is how the conversation went, but I’ll play along without not knowing for sure. How messy are NATO nations looking right now? What about China? The nation that damn near has the US supply chain on lock?
China, which is set to reshuffle the world order has been laid back on the crisis. They have in many ways reinforced their allegiance to Russia as a strategic partner and have done minimum to echo the global outcry of Putin’s invasion of West Ukraine. That says a lot. When a strategic economic partner such as China decides to mind its own business, and not jump on the train of virtue signaling, you know the West is losing clout on the world stage. Joe Biden has rallied world leaders in outcry and aid to Ukraine, great, but he has yet to lead diplomacy of the crisis.
Joe Biden said that Vladimir Putin is a “killer". Knowing that Lil Zelensky has a killer in his backyard, why would NATO nations court Ukraine to join, but take forever to add them to the alliance? In the name of international peace and security, why couldn’t NATO have the diplomacy to stay in its lane in all regards; no matter what Ukraine wanted to do?
Many make the argument that Ukraine has the right to choose its alliances. Consequently, these are the same people that support a woman’s right to kill a baby up to the due date but do not support the right for individuals to choose not to take a man-made product for a possibly man-made virus, but I digress. The point is, not every choice is going to be in the best interest of a country. A neutral Ukraine should have been the global understanding and objective, but the West wanted to play the game with Putin and took a gamble with the lives of the Ukrainian people. I don’t think Zelensky is a hero at all. It makes me sick that he is being projected this way. That man is watching his people get slaughtered because he couldn’t and still can’t separate business and politics. As I have said many times before, I feel bad for the people. We are the ones that take the fall for poor diplomacy.
As an individual from the West, I suppose I should have a sense of security knowing that there are military forces collected globally to defend my human rights and freedom, but is NATO really all about that? In their Great Reset agenda, many western democracy leaders are seeking to turn their countries into dictatorships to match the leadership style of their so-called adversaries. They have weakened their people by limiting prime education and opportunity to only those of privileged classes or to those that buy into their Marxist ideology; rooted in compliance, struggle, and oppression; not progress. It is undeniable that as the West adopts more extreme liberal styles of governance and societal thinking, our enemies capitalize on the fallout, maintaining conservative values in their unions. The Ukrainian crisis is impacting already weak economies in the West. We feel the consequences at home, and our media lies and says that Americans are onboard with higher prices out of support for Ukraine. Absolute rubbish. The media’s outcry over the invasion of Ukraine has been a contradiction on so many levels to their complicity in invading Americans’ right to choose.
Virtue signaling in the age of geopolitical conflict has escalated global turmoil to points of no return. Biden’s tough guy talks coming in office has made him look like a fool to date, and therefore we look like fools as a nation. Platforms like Facebook continues to weaken the conversation by changing their community standards to accept hate speech that calls for the death of Russian invaders and their President. Imagine if there was such a campaign against the US for Iraq or Libya? As the world watches the events unfold, NATO nations led by the United States continue to look messy, weak and starving for war. The Eastern powers are aligning themselves to respond to NATO expansions. It is obvious, they see them as threats. The energy of the changes in tides globally is strong, you can almost feel it if you are paying attention. I find it better to be neutral when it comes to affairs around the world. The only side to be on these days is for what is RIGHT and REASONABLE. Anything else is like a game of hyper-emotional high school tug of war.
May God be with the honest-hearted people within Republics throughout the world. If you are a believer, his strength will keep you during this time of weakness and turmoil.
